Some clients only do finalists, others do all candidates that get passed a first interview. If you wait until someone is a finalist two things would be true:
- If when you look through the FW window you see cause for pause, then you save the $100K+ wrong hire expense. But, all the interview time and expense you went through has been wasted. The cost of an FW window ($695) is far less than the time and actual cost of the normal hiring process that occurs in getting someone to a finalist position.
- You may have had a candidate in the process that would have excelled in their FW Assessment – one that did not make it to the finalist round
It comes down to whether you want FW to make sure you don’t hire the wrong person (a $100K+ savings) – or whether you want us to help you find a winner (which has an even bigger impact on the business).
